  • Firing-as-a-Service is becoming AI’s ugliest business model. Stop demanding providers buy your business.

    September 03, 2026 | ,

The services industry has arrived at its most uncomfortable inflection point yet, with too many service providers competing for deals and greedy enterprises exploiting AI to squeeze them to the limit. In short, too many enterprises are outsourcing their downsizing and their lack of AI acumen to services firms, and avoiding having to deal with the internal transformation themselves. If this continues to escalate, the result will be a broken industry, deeply short of talent, and a cutthroat culture that few will want to work in. And while we definitely get some vibes from the late '90s and early 2000s from those massive "take the people" deals, which kick-started the whole global outsourcing industry, the difference this time is the elimination of roles to machines, as opposed to a redistribution of talent to lower-cost locations. What we used to call "you mess for less" is fast becoming "your debts for less".Read More

  • How Anthropic is devouring IT services

    April 13, 2026 | ,

Accenture has 30,000 Claude-trained practitioners. Deloitte rolled out Claude to 470,000 employees while Cognizant deployed it to 350,000 more. Infosys signed its own major Anthropic deal last week, covering regulated industries. That is over one million practitioners already committed to Claude delivery, while most of their competitors are still reviewing governance frameworks and unsure where to place their agentic bets.Read More

  • AI will never save bad leadership: Pay your leadership debt to put Humans at the Helm

    October 28, 2025 | ,

Leaders are overpromised on technology and underdeveloped on humanity. That gap is what we term "leadership debt" and it’s the most expensive liability no CFO can measure. The leaders who win in the AI era will not be those who master neural networks, but will be those who master themselves. Leadership is not a byproduct of transformation, it is the precondition for it. The AI economy will be led by humans at the helm. Here we discuss the critical six leadership behaviors to succeed in the AI age...Read More

  • Start measuring your AI Velocity Gap before your market measures it for you…

    October 21, 2025 |

On Sunday, employees live the AI dream: frictionless, instant, empowering. They connect Gmail, Calendar, and OpenTable without asking permission. They fix mistakes, automate workflows, and see instant ROI on everyday tasks. On Monday, they crash into enterprise reality: data silos, email chains, compliance debates, and governance frameworks that exist only in PowerPoint. Your best employees are already AI augmented. Your enterprise is still forming committees. This is your AI Velocity Gap, and it's probably widening every day...Read More

  • Vibe Coding is the production engine that turns the Services-as-Software from vision to reality

    September 02, 2025 | ,

Vibe Coding is the production engine that makes Services-as-Software real, and it will decide the winners of the next decade. July 29, 2025 | ,

Microsoft, Amazon, Citigroup, UPS, Google, McKinsey, Deloitte, PwC, and many others have all recently laid off staff under the AI smokescreen. The headlines say it is about automation and AI readiness, but that is not the whole story... not even close.Read More

  • Stop pontificating about other people losing their jobs to AI and worry about your own job

    June 21, 2025 |

Here's the cold, hard truth about employment today—we're judged by one ruthless metric: how much you cost versus how much value we deliver. With AI reshaping expectations, the tipping point where our value fails to justify our price tag is frighteningly closer than most of us will admit.Read More

  • It’s time for a work reset to escape our humanist recession

    March 25, 2025 |

We have to reset our current work habits and refocus on our futures. Otherwise, we’ll withdraw more and more into a world where we’re becoming imposters. We must embrace change, refuel our passions, and tune out all the rhetoric and noise. My advice is to focus on building closer work relationships, get out more, and meet more people.  Working with people, locking heads, building friendships, sharing experiences... this is what energizes us.  At the end of the day, we're all mammals, and we need each other.Read More

  • Modern-day work culture:  It’s all about ME, ME, ME

    January 05, 2025 |

People don’t suddenly decide to become selfish. This is a product of the dehumanizing dynamics in the work environment, which results in people crying out for affirmation and a sense of connectedness that is missing from our work lives. "ME" is the world we live in, but we need to focus more on "US" to improve work culture.Read More
